Affiliate Links

With affiliate links, authors and readers alike can earn a 5% commission on any sales made through affiliate links to Laterpress stories.

Eligibility Requirements for Books

For a book to qualify for affiliate linking, three conditions must be satisfied:

  1. The author must enable community features in their account settings.
  2. The author must connect a Stripe account to receive payments.
  3. The book must have some form of monetization.

Those distributing affiliate links need to:

  1. Create a Laterpress account (publishing books yourself is optional).
  2. Connect a Stripe account to your profile.
  3. Enable Community Features in account settings.

While reading a Laterpress-hosted book while logged in, access the menu using the three-line icon from any chapter. At the bottom of the menu, select “Copy affiliate link” to generate your unique link. The button will confirm “Copied to clipboard!”

Distribution and Use

Once created, share these links anywhere — blog posts, newsletters, social media, email, or messaging platforms. The system tracks sales generated through your unique affiliate link and credits commissions accordingly.
