Building a storytelling future
controlled by community

At Laterpress, we are working with our community to build a new kind of user-led writing and publishing platform.

As we explained in a blog post in 2022, we aim to have a user constitution to give users protections around important issues like the platform's fees, algorithm design, content guidelines, and more, as well as a voice in how the constitution evolves over time.

To that end, we created a User Working Group composed of authors, technologists, and readers, and have circulated a draft constitution for review.

We expect to go live with that constitution in the next few months.
