Laterpress AI Subscription Tiers
Laterpress offers three monthly subscription levels priced at $10, $20, and $40. Higher tiers provide more credits. Unused credits do not carry over to the following month. Each AI skill usage deducts credits based on the specific skill, the language model used, and input/output size.
For the starter plan, the credit-to-dollar ratio works as follows: 10,000 credits equating to $1, meaning 1,000 credits are 10 cents.
The Laterpress AI Tab
Users can access the “Laterpress AI” tab between “Profile” and “Settings” to check account balance and usage history.
Without an active subscription, click the blue “subscribe to Laterpress AI” button to select a plan, complete payment, and receive credits.
With an active subscription, this section displays your credit allotment, next billing date, and credit expiration date.
Usage Section
The usage table tracks six data points:
- Time — Timestamp of AI skill usage
- Tool — Which AI skill was used
- Model — The language model processing the request
- Input Tokens — Data sent to the model
- Output Tokens — Text generated by the model
- Credits — Total cost for that action
The system shows remaining subscription and promotional credits with expiration dates.
Subscription Credits reset monthly; Promotional Credits are discretionary grants (new accounts receive 2,000 credits for testing).
Our system defaults to using whatever credits would expire first.
Managing Your Subscription
Click “manage subscription” in the Laterpress AI tab to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
You’ll receive a Stripe login link via email. The Stripe portal displays your current plan, billing date, payment method, and history.
Update Subscription
Select a different tier. If upgrading to a more expensive plan, you will be charged a prorated amount and receive a prorated amount of credits based on the next subscription renewal date.
Cancel Subscription
A confirmation screen appears before cancellation is finalized.
